Getting started
The first few minutes with Zeil — sign in, join your club, and set up your profile.
Welcome aboard. Whether you're a new member or you've just been handed the keys to run a club, this section gets you from "I have a link" to "I'm ready to sail."
The short version
Sign in
Zeil uses a passwordless sign-in. You'll either click a one-time link sent to your email, or sign in with Google. See Signing in.
Join your club
Most members arrive through an invitation from a club administrator. Opening the invite link connects your account to that club. See Joining a club.
Set up your profile
Add your name, contact details, and an emergency contact so skippers and administrators can reach you. See Your profile.
Start sailing
Browse the fleet, book a sail, and build your crew. The Member guide covers everything from here.
How clubs work
Every club on Zeil lives at its own web address — yourclub.zeilapp.com. Your
account (your email, name, and login) is global and shared across every club
you belong to. Your membership — your role, certifications, and skipper
endorsements — is specific to each club.
That means one person can be an everyday crew member at one club and an administrator at another, all from a single sign-in. If you belong to more than one club, see Working with multiple clubs.
