Signing in
How to sign in to Zeil with a one-time email sign-in link.
Zeil is passwordless — there's no password to remember or reset. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email.
Email sign-in link
Enter your email
On the sign-in page, type the email address you use with your club and continue.
Check your inbox
Zeil emails you a one-time sign-in link. Open the email and click the link.
You're in
The link signs you in on the device where you open it. The link is valid for a short window (about 15 minutes) and works only once.
Link expired or already used?
Sign-in links are single-use and time-limited for your security. If the link has expired or you've already used it, Zeil shows a page explaining why and lets you send yourself a new one with one tap.
Which email should I use?
Use the email address your club administrator invited. If you sign in with a different address, Zeil treats it as a separate account and you won't see your club until that address is invited. If you think you're signed in with the wrong address, sign out and sign back in with the invited one.
Staying signed in
Zeil keeps you signed in on a device until you sign out, so you usually only do this once per device. On a shared or public computer, sign out when you're done — you'll find Sign out in your profile menu.
Install Zeil on your phone
Zeil can be added to your phone's home screen so it opens full-screen, like an app — handy when you're checking a booking or the forecast at the dock. There's nothing to download from an app store.
- iPhone / iPad (Safari): open your club's address, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android (Chrome): open your club's address, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home Screen).
The shortcut launches straight to your club, branded with the Zeil icon. If you belong to more than one club, each club's address installs as its own separate icon. You stay signed in just as you do in the browser.
Trouble signing in
- The email never arrived. Check spam and promotions folders. Confirm you typed the address correctly, then request a new link.
- The button doesn't open the link properly. Some email apps open links in an in-app browser that isn't where you're signed in. The email also prints the full link as plain text below the button — copy it into your regular browser instead.
- You've requested several links in a row. To protect your inbox, Zeil limits how many sign-in links it will send to an address in a short period. Wait about 15 minutes, then request a fresh one.
- "No access" after signing in. Your account works, but it isn't a member of this club yet. See Joining a club.
- You're at the wrong club's address. Each club has its own
slug.zeilapp.comaddress. Make sure you're at your club's URL.
