Admin guide
Set up and run your club on Zeil — fleet, members, certifications, availability, and settings.
As an administrator, you run your club on Zeil. You decide what's in the fleet, who's a member, who can skipper which boat, when boats are available, and what the club hears about. This guide walks through all of it.
Admin vs. member
Everything in the Member guide applies to you too — you can book sails and crew like anyone else. This guide covers the extra capabilities that come with the admin role. For a side-by-side of who can do what, see Roles & permissions.
Setting up a new club
If your club is brand new, a sensible order is:
Set your club basics
Timezone, home location (for weather), wind unit, and local-knowledge notes. See Club settings.
Add your fleet

Define certifications and grant endorsements
Set up the credentials your club recognizes and clear your skippers. See Certifications & endorsements.
Open the calendar
Set availability windows so members can book. See Availability.
Invite your members
Send invitations and assign roles. See Members & roles.
