Your account & data

Export your data, leave a club, or close your account.

Your Zeil account belongs to you. Here's how to manage your data and, if you ever need to, close it.

Export your data

You can download a copy of your personal data from your profile. This is useful if you want a record of your information or you're exercising your data rights.

Leaving a club

If you no longer sail with a club, an administrator can remove your membership, or you can ask to be removed. Leaving one club doesn't affect your account or any other clubs you belong to.

Closing your account

You can request to delete your account from your profile. To prevent accidental loss, deletion isn't immediate:

You request deletion

Your account is scheduled for deletion and enters a grace period (around 30 days).

A grace period runs

During this window your account is deactivated but recoverable.

You can still change your mind

Restore your account any time before the window closes and everything comes back.

Deletion finalizes

After the grace period, your account and personal data are permanently removed.

Deletion is permanent after the grace period

Once the window closes, your data can't be recovered. If you're unsure, the grace period is there precisely so you can take your time.
