Managing your sails
Review upcoming and past reservations, see the detail of a sail, and cancel.
My sails is your personal list of reservations — what's coming up and what you've already done.
Upcoming and past
- Upcoming sails are those still ahead, soonest first. This is where you confirm crew, check the forecast, and read the Sail Brief before heading out.
- Past sails stay on record once they're complete, so you have a history of what you've sailed.
The reservation detail
Open any sail to see its full detail:
- Boat, date, and time in your club's timezone.
- Crew list — who's aboard, who's invited, and who's confirmed. See Build your crew.
- Weather forecast for the time of the sail, when available. See Weather & Sail Brief.
- Sail Brief — the AI-written advisory for the outing, when it's been generated.
- Status and the actions available to you, such as cancelling.
Cancelling a sail
You can cancel a reservation you're responsible for from its detail page. Zeil asks for a brief reason — this helps your club understand why sails get cancelled (weather, crew fell through, plans changed). Once cancelled, the slot frees up for others.
Cancelled by the system?
A confirmed sail can be cancelled automatically if its requirements stop being met — for example, if the skipper drops out and no eligible replacement is found within the club's grace period. See Reservation states.
After the sail
Once a sail's time has passed, Zeil marks it completed and it moves to your past sails. There's nothing you need to do — it happens automatically.
