Announcements
Write, publish, pin, and target announcements, and send the weekly digest.
Announcements are how you reach the whole club at once. Manage them under Admin → Announcements.
Writing an announcement
Each announcement has:
- a title,
- a body written in Markdown (headings, lists, links, emphasis), and
- an optional attachment (for example, a notice of race or a sign-up sheet).
Write it, review it, and publish when ready.
Pinning
Pin an announcement to keep it at the top of the feed regardless of age — use this for things members should keep seeing, like a season schedule or a standing safety reminder. Unpin it when it's no longer front-of-mind.
Visibility
Choose who sees each announcement:

The weekly digest
Zeil can send members a weekly email digest of recent announcements, so news reaches people who don't open the app daily. Members choose whether to receive it in their notification preferences.
Markdown tips
Keep announcements skimmable: a clear title, short paragraphs, and a list for anything with multiple items. Put the date and the action you want up top.
